Show HN: Hand Your Markdown Tasks to Claude Code from a Kanban Board

EtherPK (a markdown / wikilink based notes app) tasks are plain markdown, but the EtherPK client has built powerful functionality on top of markdown tasks, integrating a Kanban board and MCP server to allow you to manage your work in your notes and easily hand off with instruction and full task context to your AI Agent (e.g. Claude Code). A task in is a markdown checkbox line in your notes, written in any document, wherever and whenever the task or idea comes up. If you nest it under another tas

Show HN: CalmCanary – Uptime Monitoring Tool

This is part of my experiment to see if I can build a SaaS in an agentic world. I've been wanting to put something out in the wild for a while. I think that although we have agents that can build stuff and deploy it to any hosting solution, we still need to be assured that the system is available and working. Although I've started with a very thin product, I'm solo building this out to support a few use-cases that I think might be quite cool. Under-the-hood I've actually used Elixir to help make

Show HN: GitHub-like reply with "R" for Basecamp and Slack

Hello HN! I wrote a browser extension (also available as a userscript) that allows to insert quotes into site's reply message box using selected text + hitting 'r' (as it's done on Github). It targets only specific sites (basecamp.com, slack.com), because that's what we use at our company daily. The idea came out of my boss (who's also a good friend of mine) frustration. He always complained that Basecamp's replies are so inconvenient compared to Github's way. You have to select the quote, copy

Show HN: Teach a speech model (en) a name by saying it once, on your Mac

I wanted to see if a speech model could spell a name better if it heard it, not just read it. Most STT tools handle custom words as text (keyterm list, fixing transcript after with llm, etc). So I trained an adapter to try it, specifically a LoRA on Qwen3-ASR 1.7b (see benchmark). This LoRA transcribes words only after it hears a recording of each of your custom words. To make this model easier to use in day-to-day life, we also built Detail Keeper. It's a Mac app where you can put this adapter

Show HN: Lo-fi layered over air traffic control (recorded myself)

Some of you will remember lofiatc.com and I was a huge fan and heavy user until it got shut down. It was streaming LiveATC feeds, and when those got cut off the site went dark and has been ever since. So I decided to bring it back in a way that wouldn't fall to the same fate. I've been an ATC nerd for years (ever since you could still listen to the radio on the arm rest of commercial flights) so this summer I rented a Fiat 500, stuck an airband antenna on the roof, and spent a day driving to thr

Show HN: Thinker – Trim context and cache knowledge to extend agent usage limits

I’ve been doing a lot of solo development lately and found myself hitting Claude token limits halfway through the week constantly. Even with a Max plan, I’d have to switch over to Codex or Cursor, and it would be a bit difficult to get used to the nuances of each harness. It’s still a problem for me, but I finally built Thinker to save me some tokens and help me get a bit more out of my coding agent subscriptions. I started off a bit in the dark about how token billing works, and had to dig deep
