Show HN: HarnessHive – collaborative wiring harness design platform in browser
Hey HN! We built https://harnesshive.com , a browser based tool to help you design wiring harnesses together. HarnessHive has three key features 1) multiple engineers editing the same harness in real time 2) BOM and drawings that stay in sync automatically and 3) AI-native agent + MCP to assist designing. We hope HarnessHive can make harness design less painful than Excel and Visio for some of you :). Let me know if you have any questions/comments/feature requests!

Version & cost evidence
Source votes: 1 votes (Oct 22, 2026 UTC; cumulative since publication); previous same-scope observation: 1 (Oct 22, 2026 UTC). These observations do not establish demand growth. Recent records to compare: “Show HN: Email-like interface to review, decide, and annotate agent work” (Hacker News, Nov 8, 2026); “Show HN: psi, a 6.4 MB cross-platform portable coding agent in ANSI C & Lua” (Hacker News, Nov 8, 2026). Shared themes are navigation hints; they have not been verified as the same need or independent corroboration.
Who is affected
Identify the existing workflow this change affects before recommending an upgrade. Launch attention does not establish improvement; an API, pricing or availability change may instead create migration work.
Missing comparison points
Missing checks: old versus new behavior, affected plans and regions, availability date, compatibility, rollback path and cost under the same workload.
Migration check
Save the release or policy notice, run the same task on the old and new option, and compare outputs and the full bill. For retirement notices, verify the deadline before scheduling migration.
